Greek yogurt has more than twice the protein yet fewer carbs than regular plain yogurt and has a much thicker smoother texture that is absolutely delicious. Popular brands that are now found in many supermarkets are Fage and Oikos.

2 cups fresh blueberries or blackberries, briefly rinsed and drained
½ cup Splenda granulated – (yellow box or bag, NOT Splenda blend which contains real sugar)
Pinch of ground cinnamon

Place fruit in a medium saucepan over medium heat and mash fruit with a wooden spoon while it heats. Stir in Splenda and cinnamon; cook until juices have released and mixture has thickened slightly, 4 to 5 minutes. Serve warm, or place in Gladware bowl and chill in fridge to flavor Greek or regular yogurt or ricotta cheese.
